Ingredients (serves 2)
° 50g fresh ginger, peeled and bruised
° 12 red dates
° 750ml water
° 30g-40g rock sugar, or to taste
1. To make the drink, put all the ingredients in a pot, bring to a boil and simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and serve hot or warm.
